Ingredients: Wheat protein, Vegetable oil, Vegetarian seasoning, Sugar, and Salt, Colouring code TF595, TF594.

Vegan sushi hand rolls with BBQ char stew

Ingredients:
  

200g Veg BBQ Char Stew

Sauce(Mixed): 2 tbsp dark soy sauce, ½ tbsp sugar, 1tbsp Veg. Oyster sauce, ½ tbsp sesame oil, some pepper & cornstarch.

  

Toasted Nori Sheets

Avocado, sliced thin

Watercress

Julienned carrots

Julienned cucumber

Cilantro leaves

 

Method:  
1. Stir fry Veg BBQ Char Stew with some oil, add in mixed sauce stiring constantly until sauce absorbed. Set aside.
2. Cut nori in half.
3. Before you start, make sure your hands are dry in order to keep nori dry and crispy. Place the seaweed on the palm of your hand (shiny side down) and place fillings(avocado, watercress, carrots, cucumber, Cilantro leaves and a few Veg BBQ Char Stew) vertically across middle.
4. fold the bottom left corner of nori over and begin folding into cone shape.
5. Keep rolling until cone is formed. Put a piece of rice at the bottom right corner to use as glue and close tightly. Continue with the other half of the nori.
6. Serve with pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce as condiments.
